Right to Carry town hall set

by The Southern  |  published on February 16, 2013

Illinois Carry will be hosting a town hall meeting about citizens’ rights to carry a concealed firearm Feb. 26 at the Blue Boar restaurant near Anna.

Illinois is on track to pass a concealed-carry law after a court ordered it in late 2012.

It would become the 50th state in the nation to pass a form of the law.

The town hall meeting will be a forum for people to discuss questions and concerns before a panel of experts.

It is set for 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the restaurant, located at 920 Kratzinger Hollow Road.
