LA City Council Expected To Vote On Gun Storage Ordinance

LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles City Council members are expected to vote Tuesday on an ordinance that would require guns to be safely stored within a residence.

According to the ordinance, weapons and handguns would have to be disabled with a trigger lock or stored in a locked container within a home.

The proposed law was written by Councilman Paul Krekorian and five other council members.
