A 15-year-old is in critical condition after being shot by a pizza delivery person, later identified as Michael Andrews, police said.

Police were dispatched to the 3600 block of Richelieu Road, near Franklin Road and East 38th Street, around 7:15 p.m. Friday.

Metro police said the shooting happened during an apparent attempted robbery.

Andrews was approached by two males, one who took the pizza from him and one who pointed a gun at him, police said.

The teen who pointed a gun, identified as Jacob Robinson, demanded money and his cell phone.

The second suspect took two pizza boxes from the vehicle.

Andrews gave Robinson an undisclosed amount of money and told Robinson his phone was in the back of his car.
