She fills out a bikini almost as well as she fills a hunting tag, bagging brown bear in Alaska, deer in Minnesota, and is now the target of an environmentalist crusade to have her banned from South Africa. Her crime? Posting pictures of her successful hunts on the Internet.

Her name is Melissa Bachman and she’s the host of Winchester Deadly Passion on the hunting-themed Pursuit network. Like every hunter or fisherman, she posts pictures of her harvested game and shares them with her friends. So what’s the big deal?

From The New York Daily News:

South Africans have begun a petition to ban hardcore huntress Melissa Bachman from their country after she posted a picture of a male lion she killed on Twitter and Facebook.

The picture shows the smiling Minnesota native and hunting show presenter holding a gun next to the dead beast, with its paws spread and eyes closed.
