Conn. gun rights activists fighting gun control law

(NECN) – Gun rights activists in Connecticut are filing suit against state officials claiming violation of constitutional rights.

The group wants a federal injunction to stop the state’s new gun control law from being enforced.

The suit comes more than a month after Governor Dannel Malloy signed the law, which expands the state’s assault weapons ban and expands background checks.
